Caraway Speedway
Saturday night means racing in the heart of North Carolina, and folks from all over the region come out to engage in the culture that is uniquely racing. From the wooden planks of the front stretch stands, you can appreciate the ties to the past as you cheer on the future hopefuls competing to be the first to the checkered flag. Tucked away along the Caraway Mountain range of Randolph County sits Caraway Speedway. Opening as a dirt track in 1966 and later paved in 1972, this track is part of the rich history of racing in North Carolina.
